Pig-A-Palooza A BBQ Competition held on May 14-15 in conjunction with the 5th annual Main Street Spring Festival in Downtown Eldorado, IL. Contestants are invited to enter in four categories: Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork (Boston Butt, Picnic, or Shoulder), and Beef Brisket. Open to all BBQ cookers, back-yard, clubs, professional, etc. Prizes will be awarded. Arts & Crafts - Booth space available for sellers. ----------More Details----------

From The Program Manager I want to begin by saying a great big THANK YOU to all who have helped make lots of good things happen in Eldorado in the past year by volunteering your time and effort in the Main Street program. Here are a few of the 2003 accomplishments: 7 monthly dinners Annual Daffodil Festival 2 town wide rummage sales A new monthly recycling program Annual Golf Tournament Farmers' Market July - October Town & Country Days pizza booth Community Christmas Cantata Festival of Christmas Trees Giant stocking downtown retail promotion Re-opening of the Eldorado Historic Museum Including Board and Committee meetings, volunteers have spent over 1300 hours in Main Street activities during the past year. 	Main Street Eldorado is located on the ground floor, in the old City Hall Building, 1604 Locust Street. Tourist information, pamphlets, maps, and postcards are available inside. The office is open Monday through Thursday.
